Corner of Wade and Venice
Three (3) particoloured sunflowers staggered photokinetically in the lower grass. Particoloured sunflower pinwheels, however, particoloured as a group, ethnically diverse. A red sunflower pinwheel; a green sunflower pinwheel; a yellow sunflower pinwheel; dull colours with a uniform residue of dirt. The colours have been baked with the wetness of desert dew and the rot of an unmoving wind mill, the lower petals caught up in the stillness. Photokinetic, agape doors pulled by drafts but hung open and dried stuck open, dust across hardwood floors, grey, primer grey stucco from the sharpest trowel and ornate security bars, black, wrought to spearheads and wrought in a twist, like plaited night.
