splash NOOR AL-SAMARRAI is a writer and performer whose work centers around the confluence between space and memory. EL CERRITO (Inside the Castle Press, 2018) is her debut collection of poetry. A 2016-2017 Fulbright Fellow, she also conducts workshops on poetry and situationism and sings in the band Dog-Maw and the Plastic L.A. Skyline.
splash LISA MARIE BASILE is an editor, writer and poet living in NYC. She is the founding editor-in-chief of Luna Luna Magazine and the author of Apocryphal (Noctuary Press, 2014), as well as a few chapbooks. She is working on her first novella, to be released by Clash Books/Clash Media in 2019. Her poetry or essays can be found in Spork Press, Entropy, Atlas Review, PANK, Tarpaulin Sky, and more. Other writings can or will be seen in the New York Times, The Washington Post, Narratively, and The Establishment. Her book Nympholepsy (co-authored with poet Alyssa Morhardt-Goldstein, and finalist in the 2017 Tarpaulin Sky Book Awards) will be released by Inside the Castle in November 2018.

splash M KITCHELL [w1] [w2] M Kitchell is a holy actor who lives in Oakland. Dedicated to obsessive research and the literal act of finding, Kitchell is primarily concerned with the impossible (or, perhaps, the outside) and levitation (or, perhaps, the float). An expanded list of his interests include ecstatic & trance states, inversion practice, landscape as limit-experience, hunting the void, Georges Bataille’s list of “apparently sovereign behaviors,” the space of the book and film as an autonomous medium. In addition to his more conceptual interests, his regular physical practice involves investigations into post-circus contortion, soft acrobatics & the flow-state. He teaches movement classes in Emeryville, CA.

He was awarded a French Voices grant in 2017 for his in-progress translation of Achab (séquelles) by the same author. His criticism and translations have appeared sporadically online and in print.
splash GERMÁN SIERRA [w] is a neuroscientist at the University of Santiago de Compostela in Spain and author of contemporary innovative fiction. He has been included among the “Mutantes” or “Afterpop writers”: a group of Spanish writers who are strongly committed with innovative literature. Most of his fictional work deals with metamediatics and the role of science and technology as cultural discourses in post-postmodern and posthuman societies. He has written five novels.
